An Apple for the Teacher

I think my boys are the only ones who like this tradition (like how I did that?). When I handed Nathan his, he wanted to know why he was bringing the teacher an apple? I said, "because you're a fine, old-fashion young man." Then without missing a beat he said, "it's not on the list (school supplies)!"
