Spring Concert!
Here's Brandon and his classmates in "prayer position" at the Spring Concert, which is a 50's theme this year! He looked just darling with his jeans rolled up and a jewelry box folded up in his white tee-shirt arm sleeve, and a small, white, post-it note rolled up behind his ear. David approached me before taking the boys, regarding the jewelry box and rolled up post-it note. "Perhaps it's too much...they're in a private school and to be condoning anything related to smoking...maybe not such a good idea?" WHAT? They looked just darling and my kids know those things are "cancer sticks" and studies now show the dangers of smoking! Back then, they didn't know any better, it's not their fault. But now, we all know, no smoking! So I sent them anyway, with the post-it and jewelry box in proper places, per the costume designer (I went to see the day concert, when they're in uniform). Well now, lookie here. Neither the rolled up post-it note or jewelry box in sleeve, are anywhere to be found in this picture, or the next. David....!:-)
Grease Lightening!
Here's Nathan, to the far left. Don't ask me how they got out of the house without pictures of the two of them in proper lighting...I must've been feeding one and nursing the other (the girls, of course). Anyway, he puts John Travolta, I mean Danny, to shame-in my humble opinion. You're certainly not sick and tired of that humble opinion by now, are you? :-)

First Communion
Nathan made his First Communion! It was a beautiful Mass/ceremony followed by a nice little party and bounce house to commemorate the event. He looked so handsome and he (and all the kids) did such a great job remembering every little detail and with such grace. Congratulations Nathan! We're very excited and oh so PROUD of you!

"See my Teethies!"
Can you see them? The two little white chiclets on the bottom (central incisors) in the top picture! She's enjoying lots of new foods with these and making Mama think it's getting time to think about weaning. I'm a big believer in getting to a year, if possible. However, big sister was done at ten months as she thought biting was funny and a game...not going into the E.R. over it, that's for sure! Both boys went well over a year, so we'll see where she ends up-hopefully somewhere in between.

Thumbs Up, Mission Accomplished!
We we were quite lucky to get Karli and Kyle for a spontaneous dinner date. Since it was spontaneous, non of the kids knew until I picked up K & K from their after school care on my way home from work. Then the plotting began! Karli, Kyle and I came up with a brillant plan (actually multiple plans) to surprise the boys (and Patsy) when we came home. I'll save you details of how we pulled it off, but basically as the boys came running in to see me, then Karli and Kyle popped out from behind the China hutch. You should have seen the look on Brandon's face! I think Brandon actually said in the sweetest voice, "Are you really here?" I think he was afraid that he was only dreaming. Once they all realized it was real, the squeals of delight filled the house and we had a wonderful evening.
