Here is the proud Godfather of Summer Deeann. She is almost a year, and this is our first meeting (we just missed her birth last year by a couple of weeks). It took David all of 2 seconds to swoop her up and let her know how spoiled she will be over the next few decades! She looks thrilled doesn't she;-)
The boys loved being together again! Some dangerous climbing on the new play structure was what had me worried, but it was simple rock moving that caused my little B. Boy to lose his big toenail...OUCH:-(
The girl of the hour and her Godfather (please use Al Pacino voice whenever saying godfather, it really doesn't get old...Christian and David);) They had her in the most darling pink dress that all the girls wore when they were babies and then did a full immersion Baptism. Then she wore the most gorgeous white silk gown afterwards. Quite the production!!!
These 4 were so excited for Summer that they wanted to get into the "pool" with her (the Baptismal font was in ground and literally the size of a small pool). So it was fun keeping them dry!
Team no-shirts await a pass from their Daddy (team shirt) at another game of backyard football, a summer favorite for the Babbys. Daddy barbeques and tires out the boys while I...while I sit around and be pregnant:-)
Nathan had his belt pomotion to white belt with green stripe. He loves Karate and has often received "student of the day" awards for behaviors such as self-discipline, enthusiasm, perserverance, courage, etc. Brandon always yells "hi-ya" as we drive into the parking lot of the karate school.
After we observed the monkeys, the kids opted for some tree climbing. Brandon was so darling imitating and making monkey noises the whole time...ew-ew-ah-ah.
A direct quote from the little boy riding behind me. I believe this was after we got through the tunnel (very dark) and Karli is still deciding if she liked that part or not.
