The Dowry

Here's the story. Nathan ran up to me and asked me to hold "his money". Knowing we did not go to the park with 63 cents, I explained to Nathan that the money was Karli's and we should let Jen hold it for her. "OH NO!" said he. "This is the money that is mine for when I grow up and marry Karli!" Karli looked at me and just nodded her head. So, we still have the money. David and I have discussed it and if we invest it now, assuming an 18% return, over the next 25 years, the kids should have a cool ten bucks! Yippee!!!

Disclosure Statement: I am not the numbers person in our household. For an actual analysis on the investment of .63 earning 18% over the next 25 years...please see husband. Often in my analysis, numbers do vary.

The Little Lambies are Back!

The little lambies, as we call them, are back for grazing down the street from our house. They boys were so excited to see them let loose as well as watching the installation of the temporary fence.
Here Nathan has big ideas of removing the fence "just for a minute" so that he and his brother may go and pet the sheep and goats.

Baaaaahhhh

Nathan: "Baaahhh."
Brandon: "Baaahhh."
Nathan: "Baaahhhaahaha."
Brandon: "Baaahhhaha-hee-ha."
Nathan: "Baaahhh-hee-ha-hee haa."
Brandon: "Baaahhh."
Repeat x10 and then you'll have the thought provoking conversation I was priviledged enough to share in...(big sigh) so serene:-)

Filling Daddy's Hat

Brandon loves the time with Daddy and especially filling his hat (it's usually his shoes or my boots he's trying to fill).

Shoot for 2...

shoot, shoot for 2! A cheer Mommy used to do back in my glory days:-) It comes in quite handy now that I am cheering for my boys!

Watching Big Brother

and taking notes!

Team Shot!

Here they are, "The Blues Team." I bet you couldn't tell;-)

Mission: To Catch a Bubble

We played with the bubbles after practice and Nathan spent a lot of time trying to catch and hang on to his little creation without it popping.
Almost there...

Got It!

Mission accomplished!

Happy Valentine's Day Birthday Boy!

We had a great time celebrating Nathan's 4th birthday. He's an almost Valentine's baby... although he still ranks highest on the sweetheart list (along with his brother of course--must be the month)!!!

Say Cheese!

"Come on Mom, let us open the presents!"

All the way from Boise

Grammy & Poppy sent these superior Boise State tee shirts! An athletic set of grandsons were proud to sport this champion team from the heartland.

Door Hoop

Daddy found this hoop that mounts to the back of door... what a SCORE Daddy!

Arrgh!

Shiver me timbers, it's a pirate kite! Can't wait to set sail on this baby...UP, UP, UP!

The Lay Up

Go Nathan!

It's Good!

2 points for the big 4 year old!!! Whoo hoo!
