Snacktime

The boys enjoy a quick rest and snack at their favorite park.

Walking the Plank

Brandon loves walking on the narrow retaining wall at the park. Nathan calls it the plank (after seeing Peter Pan). Here, he just fell off the plank onto the safe grass...the alligators are the other side, lucky for him!

Inspiration

Nathan is inspired by the "big boy" that is flying by on the monkey bars. Of course, he was up there about 2 seconds after this shot was taken.

Snuggle Bug

There's nothing like snuggle time from Daddy when just waking up from a nice nap!

"Hiya"

Last night after David just finished getting the boys into their PJ's, Brandon got into the hamper and pulled out Nathan's karate pants (we had karate that day), stripped down, put them on and came out of his room yelling "hiya". I heard David laughing, so I peeked upstairs and he was actually doing a pretty decent job of the combinations. Here you see him demonstrating the "right knife hand." I was especially impressed with the "middle blocks" he was practicing...great form Brandon!

Before we know it, were going to have 2 little karate kings around here;-)

Busy Boy

He's very busy working and refuses to leave and build legos with his brother. Everytime he gets into the office or near my laptop he says "I work, I work."

Naptime

Could it be true? Both of my boys taking a nap and at the same time! To what do I owe this privilege?

Of course...

the one who never takes a nap, sleeps, as the younger one (who naps like clockwork) decides this will be the one day he won't go down for a nap! Wonderful.

Happy New Year!!!

Exciting times in the Babby home as we have an almost 2 year old using the "big boy potty" for almost two weeks now!!! He had been practicing for a little while but now he's catching on much quicker than I remember Nathan doing. It's amazing what the desire to keep up with big brother will do ;-)
We've been doing diapers for almost 4 years now! It's hard to imagine leaving the house without them!
