We broke into the gardening kit Andrew and Sharon gave us. Here is Nathan, ready with his watering can, gloves and a whole lot of tools to create some potted plants for our backyard.
He chose some Gerbera Daisies, white Bacopas and yellow Marigolds for the project. I must say he definitely knew what he wanted when we went shopping, and had quite an action plan of the tools he planned on using to complete the task. He's sooo smart:-)
Well now he has his chance to use his shovel. He insisted this was the best way to transfer the soil...I had no idea:-0
Of course when it came time to arrange and nest the lovely flowers he chose, he gets a bit tired and has to sit down to finish. He also utilized a tool for this-the spade- because "I need to use my tools Mommy." Such a boy!
Here he is all finished with another enrichment project. He's the youngest and cutest Horticulturalist I've ever seen. Hmm... I wonder where he gets that from?
The Babby Boys' are all smiles because they have, by far, the best Daddy in the whole wide world! Plus, he's a fabulous cook making him the best Husband in the whole wide world;-)
Nathan took his Craftsman Trimmer (toy craftsman-notice it in his hands), and was helping Daddy trim up the yards. It's important to give it that manicured look that Mommy likes so much:-) When I asked Nathan to pose for a shot, he wouldn't even turn his head and stated "No Mommy we're too busy." Too cute!
