The Love Boat

The Babby Boys' parents boarded the GTS Infinity (aka "The Love Boat") for a long weekend of R&R... not to insinuate that parenting isn't R&R. So for a week beforehand I would sing the theme from The Love Boat, in order to prepare. My husband informed me the song was "not so cool in the days of Captain Stubbing, and hasn't gotten any better since then." Mind you, he was also singing it by the end of our cruise :-)

Bon Voyage San Francisco...

We're on our first vacation without the boys! A short one to see how it goes...

Mandatory Activities

I am happy to comply with the mandatory napping policy (new Babby rule initiated as we boarded the ship).

David is just thrilled to learn of the mandatory safety class the Coast Guard insisted we attend. That whole Titanic thing really shook them up:-)

"Prom Ni...I mean "Gala Affair"

Here's 007 (a nickname the photograher gave David) and I on our "Formal Evening." You should see the "Formal Photo," all we're missing is a wrist coursage and boutineer. David promises he'll have one next time-yeah.
He is quite the 007 if I do say so myself :-)

Greetings British Columbia

Our short but sweet stay was in Victoria, Canada. It was breathtaking and so relaxing...just what we ordered.

Chat/Relax/Eat/Chat some more!

David prefers the authentic ale at a local Irish Pub over High Tea at The Empress...I don't get it :-) We had a wonderful time chatting, eating, drinking, relaxing, etc. We can't wait to visit again.

The Breton Fisherman's Prayer

We're off to sea again and just one more night until we see the boys--we can't wait! This scenic view reminds me of the boys as we have a book of Children's Prayers that we read to them and the Fisherman's Prayer is our favorite.

The Last Dance

Our last night aboard and we had the table all to ourselves which was so nice (although we had awesome dinner partners)!

Plus, David surpirsed me with jewelry treat that I had my eye on throughout the cruise:-) Smoooooth "Double-O."
