Ole Blue Eyes

Whose baby blues do these remind you of?

Reach for the Stars Kid!

B. Boy aims high, no matter what he's doing!

"My Goggles Mommy"

Nathan has these toy welding eye shields that have become his "goggles." They go everywhere with us--water park, club, walks, drives, playdates and swim lessons! Yes, even bedtime wouldn't be the same without them..."I need my goggles Mommy." We lost them once at the club and thankfully they were in the lost and found. Unfortunately they do not function as goggles, water fills them quickly which got me a nice look from his swim teacher. But these goggles are as precious to Nathan as that blue blanket was to Linus:-)

Swim Lessons

Our little fishies are so anxious to dive in and get swimming! Of course they look more like monkeys here. It's so hard to wait....

Line Up

We're at T-time minus two minutes!

Show Time!

Here they are... strategic
planning and flawless execution!

Another Successful Venture

Here is a look of satisfaction after Nathan returns to the safety of the steps after treading the deep waters. In addition to putting his face in the water, he's now blowing bubbles, kicking and strokes using his arms. Watch out Phelps, he's a quick learner!

A very Happy Mother's Day:-)

The boys were very good to Mommy this year (as they've been in the three years past)! They started out by serving me my favorite breakfast in bed (after a long slumber--the best part), and then we headed into the city for the day. We went to Golden Gate Park to hang out and ride the carousel. The boys are big fans of the carousel:-) After our day we went to St. Dominic's for mass and then to dinner with some friends we haven't seen forever! A great day was had by all!

Pick a horse...

Or a swan if you prefer!

Drummer Boy

We stumbled upon some of Golden Gates finest performers. Nathan was invited drum along with this drummer.

Adventure Time

Brandon was enthralled by the horsies that go up-and-down, and Nathan always enjoys the view from Daddy's shoulders.

The Babby Boys

All three of them!

The Babby Family

Just what I always wanted:-)

Babby Builders

What started out as Nathan joining his brother for an afternoon nap (as if I would be so lucky), turned into a tent building project.

Under Construction

Brandon is having a good time getting underneath and redirecting his brothers hard work. Nathan has few things to say about his project management!

Mission Accomplished

Brandon gieves us two seconds (and no longer) to capture a shot of Nathan's tent.

Yipee...Presents!

Sharon and Andrew were so generous and brought the boys this awesome gardening kit. Nathan was over the moon! Perfect for some summer projects:-)

Yummy Pretzels

The bottom step makes for a perfect bench for these two, especially when enjoying a pretzel. You'd think they would utilize more of the space.

Swim Time

The little fishies are in the pool almost daily these days. Everday Nathan's first question is "Are we going to club today Mommy?" Brandon usually keeps up, but here he's just plum tuckered out and prefers to watch.

Picture Perfect

The two brothers hanging out together. Many times before this, many more to come. Just perfect.

Restime

Restime! The boys take a break and Nathan scans the park looking for his next new friend! He is quite the socialite.

Sunscreen Weather is Back!

The Babby Boys enjoy some water time at our park.

"I'm So Excited!"

Nathan gears up for a marathon through the concourse of the water park near our house! Lately, whenever we're off on an adventure that Nathan is particularly fond of, he'll say with GREAT enthusiasm "I'm so excited Mommy!" Then Brandon will start to squeal as he knows we're in for a good time!

His Name is Simba

Inside this tupperware is a buggy that Nathan adopted. When we asked what his buggy's name was, he said Simba. Then he asked if Simba could sleep with him? Daddy said sure. Then I explained that when we got the panicked holler that Simba was missing, I would have nothing to do with finding him. That's a mans job! So a bit later Nathan decided Simba needed swimming lessons too. So Daddy and Nathan sent Simba on a water adventure down the toilet. Nathan wanted to know when he would come back and I told him the next day he would most likely be back home in the backyard. Hmm, we're still looking for him, but I'm sure he'll turn up.

Share and Share Alike

Nathan shares his sippy with his little brother. No, he was not coerced...too much;-)

The Bee Charmer

The bees are back, just near the lavender. Nathan is still fascinated with them, although, exercises some caution when interacting (ie he has not blatantly swated them with a stick yelling "Fly away bees"). Here he is directing them where to fly and I heard him saying "I don't want to see you near Brandon bees, he's a baby." So cute.

Peek-a-boo!

Brandon has NO interest in engaging the bees, and enjoys his brother's conversation from a much further distance!

Shades for the Trike!

But of course, Nathan's cool ride wouldn't be complete without a cool pair of shades!

Brandon and his Godmother

Erin, Brandon's favorite Godmother, came over to spend time with us at the park. Somehow whenever Erin and/or Larry is coming over (or "Larin" as Nathan says), Nathan responds with complete compliance for whatever I ask! What inspiration...come visit soon Erin:-)

Brandon's Bunny Shoes

The Easter Bunny left a bit of himself behind for baby Brandon. Mommy hopes this will encourage him to start walking again! He took several steps after he turned a year old, then looked at us like it was highly overrated and sped off crawling again. The baby blue shoes matched perfectly to his pinstriped pants and argile sweater. Aren't they the cutest shoes you ever did see?

Happy Easter Everyone :-)

The Babby Boys clean up again this Easter. Here is Nathan's basket and baby brother's still awaits finding-which Nathan will handle while Brandon explores this loot.

The Easter Bunny...Rain or Shine!

The Easter Bunny made it our house while we were at church...we just missed him! Nathan is describing and shaking each egg as he finds them scattered throughout the backyard and house. Luckily the rain cleared up long enough to have our hunt.

Easter Sunday

The boys are all ready and off to church we go! I wonder how long the matching outfits will stay clean? They are all smiles as they have been told Peter Cottontail may come while we are gone.
